Really look forward to your show every week.

Pretty heavy on deficit hawks this weekend, Chris, which is unfortunate. I'm realizing why lately I've been skipping your show and going straight to "This Week" on ABC. I've always liked that you generally ask your guests tough questions for clarification in lieu of disputing their most ludicrous positions, so it was bit weird to hear Trisha Regan state, unchallenged, that healthcare reform is "unpopular". That's just not true, which is why Obama's polling better right now, even if 3/4 of your panel seemed not to notice. Then, Kathleen Parker piles on by saying there was presumably "no constituency for healthcare reform"...during the last campaign season? If that was accurate, Obama's "Ownership Society" rhetoric wouldn't have gone over so well, and he most certainly wouldn't have been elected. It's about time someone said that many of the 85% or so of folks with health insurance aren't comfortable with costs spiraling out of control, especially given the fact they may find themselves adding to the jobless rate that your panelists don't seem to think is as important as "fiscal conservatism." Just a little more balance would go a long way.

I THINK CHRIS MATTHEWS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WE HAVE RACIAL ISSUES, HOWEVER THEY ARE NOT FROM THE RIGHT. QUITE TO THE CONTRARY. PEOPLE LIKE MATTHEWS LIKE TO INCITE HATE RATHER THAN REPORT THE FACTS AS THEY ARE. HIS COMMENTS ON GLENN BECK AND RUSH HAVING A HATRED OF THE BLACK RACE IS PURE IGNORANCE. CHECK OUT WHAT REV. MANNING SAYS ABOUT OBAMA, AND HE IS A BLACK MAN CALLING A SPADE A SPADE (NO PUN INTENDED) THE REASON PEOPLE HAVE A STRONG VIEW OF OBAMA'S POLICIES IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE SO RADICAL AND CONTROLLING. VERY SAD

I agree that race is an issue. However, it is being used by Pres Obama and the Left and then they accuse the Right of doing what they are doing. I hope that one day, the black community will wake up to the fact that they are still being held on the "plantation" by the Democrats! It is abundantly clear that you must watch what Pres Obama DOES and not what he SAYS.

The arrogance of David Brooks when talking about all those "small town Americans" as though they are second class is palpably divisive. Does he want to debate health care reform with me, a board certified small town Internist who has run his own business for twenty plus years and has had far too many encounters with the bureaucratic ineptitude of government health institutions? Case in point: savings that we will supposedly gain in new efficiencies and with the elimination of fraud and abuse. What has prevented us from doing that in the past several decades when it is so obvious to so many actually providing care. The real debate is between those who trust bigger government to solve our problems vs. those who distrust the government to even do the simplest of things. Small town America is not the problem.

The arrogance of David Brock when talking about all those "small town Americans" as though they are second class is so emblematic of the problem. I doubt that he even senses how divisive that is.
